Jan joined Rice Financial in 2007 as Team Manager, overseeing all operations and client servicing. She came with 25 years of experience as a business owner, providing bookkeeping and accounting services for small businesses. After joining Steve, she found a passion for working with and educating people to help them reach their financial goals and to achieve peace of mind around their investments. Jan became an Adviser in 2010 and increased her industry knowledge and expertise with diverse educational pursuits, including training and development through Matson Money and becoming a Master Elite advisor with Ed Slott and Company, LLC. In 2020, Jan became the Managing Partner of Rice Financial Consulting.
In her community, Jan is active in her church, including being elected to serve on the Deacons Board. She has a passion for working with her church and Convoy of Hope in serving underprivileged communities. Jan has been married to Dale for 41 years. They have two daughters, two son-in-laws, and four grandchildren. For relaxation, Jan enjoys reading, hiking, traveling, running, and spending time with family and friends.
