Maria first joined Rice Financial in 2016 as a temporary employee. She went on to become a preschool teacher. She came to realize her true passion was working in the financial industry, and she rejoined Rice Financial Consulting in 2021. She quickly established herself as a valuable member of the team, where she oversees all back-office operations for the firm. In 2022, she became a licensed Notary.
Maria graduated from San Jose State University with a Bachelor of Science in Behavioral Sciences and Anthropology. Maria and her husband, Mike, have been married since 2019 and live with their cat, Tako. In their spare time, Maria and Mike enjoy visiting with their family throughout the Bay Area, exploring new culinary experiences, and hiking.
